Comment: This is one of Penn State's sports arenas, but they put on shows every so often. Whatever the college is having usually ends up there. Rock, alternative stuff, whatever. It's got an echoy sound to it, kind of like the Spectrum or the RFK. The ride there is awesome, hardly ever any traffic, unless there's a Penn State football game scheduled for the same night. This happened at least once when Phil Lesh and Friends was playing with Bob Dylan and all the Penn State fans and deadheads clogged central PA's roadways for about ten hours. Nightmare, but I think they watch that kind of scheduling fiasco these days.

Comment: I was there last Thursday hosting a birthday party and we all had a wonderful time. Everyone loved the music, the decor and the food. I have been there several times and have not had a bad experience. I will be back again and continue to bring people with me. Michele

Comment: One of D.C.'s newest quality establishments beyond a doubt is the Cada Vez Restaurant and Computer Conference Center located at 1438 U street. In addition to its art deco/high tech decor, this venue offers some of the best food and best live weekly entertainment especially on Tuesdays (R&B), Wednesdays (Latin Jazz) and Thursdays (Straight Ahead Jazz) in the city. First set usually starts at 8pm. And for us high tech folks the restaurant booth area has 4 computer monitors and keyboards with high-speed Internet access and the tables have ports for you to plug in your own laptops; moveover the conference/computer center upstairs is perfect for seminars, meetings, retreats etc. For more infomation on this fabulous, multi-purpose venue go to www.cadavezonline.com
