Comment: The E-factory has been around forever. The Dead played there in 1969, and it's still jumping. I hit that joint at least twice a year, since they feature my favorite acts. They have a giant upstairs bar balcony, with a nice video set-up for the obstructed view areas. It's about 8 blocks north of market if you get off at the 8th St. Blueline subway stop. I think the Electric Factory is also a promo company called Electric Factory Concerts. They deal with the Tower Theater on 69th street in Upper Darby, the Theater of the Living Arts on South Street in Phila, and the Camden Tweeter Center. (more on that in another message) Harry

Comment: Ellington's on Eighth is located at 424 8th ST SE DC. If you are looking for good food and great music, stop by any time between Wednesday and Sunday. The Reginald Cyntje Group performs @ Ellington's every Sunday from 5-8pm. The group features local and international musicians.
