Jazz, Blues, Gospel and R & B vocalist Jeffrey Walker


Singer Jeffrey Walker's vocal talent emerged at the tender age of 3 while singing in the church choir. Born in San Diego, California and raised in the Washington DC metro area, Jeffrey participated in musical productions and performed at various venues where he perfected his craft. In 1998 Jeffrey toured solo extensively throughout the world including the Virgin Islands, Africa and Japan. Then in 1999, Jeffrey secured the leading role opposite Patti Labelle in Soul Possessed, a musical production produced by Debbie Allen and held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Allen was so impresses with Jeffrey's voice, that in 2000 she called on him again to perform in the musical ballet production Dream. Phylicia Rashad also took note of Jeffrey's voice and in 2000 she called on him to perform in a charity benefit for the Brain Nerd Institute. In 2002 Jeffrey toured with the legendary Patti Labelle performing along with Mickey Howard, Levert and The William Becton Gospel Ensemble.

Jeffrey's debut album Jeffrey Walker, Mixed Emotions is set for released in August 2002.
