This native of Jacksonville, FL tenth grader moved to VA approximately 11 years ago. Over past couple of years he has taken the VA, DC, and MD area by storm. His entertainment repertoire includes the triple-threat-total-package; he writes, produces tracks, and delivers unforgettable performances. ALASHUS has opened for several major recording acts, and has headlined several BET Rap-It-Up Teen events. Most recently he gave back to the teenage community by headlining a BET Rap-It-Up event at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. In addition to providing a stellar performance at the event, he participated on a panel that included recording artist BET’s Travis Henry, Joe Clair (Madd Sports), Lil Moe, Kym Whitley, and Monique (The Parkers). In addition to his BET Rap-It-Up performances, he performed for the Radio Disney, and the 2003 Miss DC Teen USA Pageant. ALASHUS has received recognition in several BET Rap-It-Up Campaign press releases, and in the black radio network magazine of choice, Black Radio Exclusive (BRE). Other highlights include ALASHUS’ pre-release version of his much-acclaimed pre-released debut CD "The Chosen One”, which includes the hot single “Special Girl.” The single received spins for three consecutive months on DC, MD, and VA on the Washington, DC metro areas top urban radio station’s WPGC 95.5 and WKYS 93.9. ALASHUS’ Special Girl video, sponsored by WPGC 95.5 and Pepsi Project X premiered on WBDC-TV and aired in VA, MD, and DC for five consecutive weeks. ALASHUS’ mentor and producer, Texx the CEO of Maryland/Los Angles based All Hizz Entertainment, has mapped out a successful strategy for a successful entertainment career path, which includes a major record deal and high profile corporation deals are on the horizon.
