Comment: Club D'elf played a great show at the State Theater in Falls Church, VA a few days ago. Though I listed them as a jazz group, the elements of the music include trance, hip-hop, funk, and morroccan rhythms. Their first set was a continuous 85 minutes of shifting grooves and 'free/structured' improvisation. They displayed a very high level of musicianship, and were also able to connect with the audience. I would see them again, without any hesitation.
